Great recount of the tarpon! For a couple of minutes, I was no longer at my cubicle at work but in that boat with heart in my throat! Now it’s been a month since that great bonefish trip in your backyard and I am just eating up stories online trying to hang on to the memory of that first bone….
I would compare my reading of this blog to a junkie’s next fix. Reading this is a close second to actually being on the water.
By the way- that RPLXI I caught the bones on last month? Broke it on a tarpon on the beach at home. I clear line off a deck like I have 10 thumbs….don’t really want to talk about it anymore.

Well, at least all the bones in FLA aren’t gone. 8-lbs = nice… but I’d settle for any just about now. But, hopefully in a few days I’ll have at least one under the old belt and fresh fuel for the blog.

i lately liken my soul to that of my old leather work boots. Damp smell of mud and diesel fuel. the life and fleeting glimpses of enthusiasm situation makes me think of my windshield’s relationship with rain drops at eighty miles an hour after applying rain x. i too tried putting it on my “penis and pen”.
